Happy “Monday” everyone!

Hope you had as much fun as we did during Labor Day weekend!

We went camping up in Big Bear, and it was great!  We went with 2 other families, and this time we didn’t see any bears!  Phew!

The mommies were able to steal away for some much needed massages, the husbands went offroading & dirt biking, and we took the kids swimming & to a local fall festival.  Life was good to us this weekend.

On the way up to the campgrounds Friday, I noticed how incredibly beautiful the moon shone that night….not realizing that what I was looking at, was the blue moon.  The second full moon for the month of August.

I wanted to catch a glimpse of the moon with my camera.

To capture the awe and the brightness within my lens.

I had no such luck.

It was too dark, and I didn’t know what evening setting to use, to take a picture of Mr. Moon.

But while chasing the moon, I took these amazing photos instead.

Beautiful mistakes.

Unknowingly captured,

…but art pieces in their own right, nonetheless.
